The CREW at
Cumberland Trace
church of Christ

We realize how crucial the college years are for your sons and daughters. We also get what a tremendous stewardship we have in carrying on the nurturing and training you started in your home and your home congregation.

Our commitment to these important young people is four-fold, reflected in the acronym to describe our college ministry (CREW): Connected, Ready, Equipped, and Willing.

We try to connect them through fellowship opportunities like our Wednesday meals. We try to ready them through service opportunities like babysitting for congregational events, raking leaves for the elderly, and other ways to follow the Serving Savior (Mat. 20:25-28).

We try to equip them with a dedicated Bible class for the CREW every Sunday and Wednesday as well as sessions for them during Equipped, our workshop every April. We try to build their willingness through opportunities to be involved in the many events during each year. We have a strong, robust group of college-aged students each year, and this work is growing all the time.

We seek to be a home away from home for those here for school as well as those joining the workforce in the Bowling Green area. We are committed to faithful, biblical teaching, preaching, worship, and daily, Christian living.

Our elders love the souls of the Cumberland Trace members, and this love extends to the college-aged students who come to us for a few years or those who will eventually make Bowling Green their new home. We would love to talk more with you about this, answering any questions you may have about our congregation or our college and young adult vision group. Please address all emails (ctcoc.office@gmail.com) to the attention of the "College Ministry." Barrett Hammer and Jeremy Waddell are the deacons who lead this vision group.
